Abstract

This study determined how team connectedness influenced the team behavior of 100 small group members in a sectarian  university. Survey questionnaires were utilized as data gathering tool. The 100 randomly selected respondents  were members of 16 small groups in the university campus. The respondent’s age ranged from 16-24 years old, with a mean age of 19 years old, female (58%) and enrolled in various programs in a sectarian university. The results showed that the respondents have high team connectedness and with a very  good teamwork behavior. Further findings revealed that team-connectedness is highly related to teamwork behavior (r = .782, p=.000) which implies that the more connected an individual to his small group the better his teamwork behavior. Age and gender do not influence significantly to the teamwork behavior small group members.
