Indonesia is known as a country with diverse ethnic, cultural, and language. In 2010, data on the number of Indonesian population of the most recent declared Indonesia's total population of 237.56 million, with 85.1% of them are Muslims and 288 405 people work as a nurse. An understanding of transcultural nursing when the nurse is necessary. Religion, one of the seven factors that, according Leininger had a big hand in influencing the behavior and attitudes of nurses and clients. Simanjuntak (2011) based on qualitative study states 13 characteristics that must be validating as a characteristic of the Islamic nurse when performing treatments to clients. This study was conducted to validate the grains picture of Islam Indonesian nurse professional identity through the design of sheet examined. Designs in this study is the validation of a questionnaire to the factors of design, dimensions and construct validity. This study was conducted by a pilot study in advance at the Hospital Cibabat and Hospital Imanuel by then asks respondents to fill out the questionnaire and comment on every grain of the statement, and the actual data came from Hospital Santosa Bandung, Hospitals Meilia Cibubur, and the General Hospital of Koja Jakarta by asking respondents to fill out the questionnaire. Samples were selected using snowballing method to Islam Indonesian nurses who work in Bandung and Jakarta. Data has been analyzed by Cronbach ?, and a test results obtained on the validity of the 13 characteristics of professional identity of nurses Islam Indonesia each have a value of Cronbach ?> 0.70. The results of this study suggest that nurses Islam Indonesia can become a professional nurse in assessing themselves in order to lead a cross-cultural nursing competence.
