THE INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATION ON LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF GRADUATE CANDIDATE STUDENTS OF KLABAT UNIVERSITY

This study aimed to analyze whether the motivation has significant effect to student achievement of graduate candidates of Klabat University. This research uses causal descriptive method. The population consisted of
173 graduate candidates students in 2014-2015 academic year of Klabat University. The data was obtained through the questionnaires have been administered to graduate candidates students. The analysis used to answer the problem through logistic regression analysis to find the Mean value and see the impact of prospective graduate students' learning motivation on student achievement. The analysis shows that there was no significant effect on student achievement motivation of graduate candidates. The implications of this research not only on the motivational factors that influence student achievement but need to look at other factors that may affect the achievement of learning such as: the student's character, attitude, study habits, teacher competence, environment, curriculum, facilities and infrastructure.
