The researcher adapted questionnaires from Thang, Ting, and Jaafar (2011) and Choosri and Intharaksa (2011) as the instrument. This study was conducted to the 118 grade ten X3 – X6 students of SMA A enrolled in the second semester of 2016/2017 academic year. The results showed that the level of students’ attitude in learning English was moderate (M = 2.93) and the students’ motivation in learning English was high (M = 4.01). Lastly, this study found that there was no significant correlation between students’ attitude and motivation in learning English (p = 0.105). Thus, students’ attitude in learning English does not have any relationship with their motivation in learning English.
