This study examines the effectiveness of Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) for students enrolled in Nursing
Department who were taking English II class, at Univeristas Advent Indonesia, Bandung.
This study seeks to find whether Peer-Assisted reading strategi help student increase their achievement in reading comprehension. The strategy found to be effective enhancing reading comprehension., basically it was proved by the data gathered. The calculated data showed the mean of pre-test is 20.7. The t counted is
1.63 and the t-table is 2.07. The researcher concludes that the data showed there was an improvement in achievement of reading comprehension. The researcher hopes that the finding of this research could be a contribution to the agent of education fro the improvement of the quality of language teaching in the country
