Abstrak

Quality is an ongoing phenomenon for businesses. Currently the reference used by academics and practitioners in the diagnosis of quality still used the hierarchy reference from three countries, namely (1) United States, through its approach to Total Quality Management (TQM), (2) European countries, through the approach of the International Standard of Organization (ISO), and (3) The State of Japan, through its Kaizen approach. For practitioners of Business Management Indonesia, in-depth review of three approaches these qualities need to be understood in detail, or one by one to indicate that the application of information each of TQM, ISO and Kaizen into a new measuring device that indicates a specific study in the procession of the fulfillment of the quality of the results of operations a business. The three approach to quality indicate that they have the same goals, but provide a different implementation of operational system. For those approaches to stay relevant, parties can sort out the best approach in implementing the operational quality of the company. In this case, "quality management" is the responsibility of the company. Since in principle, "bad quality comes from bad management" and consumers are always looking into qualified products (goods & services).
