Strategi Keberhasilan Berhenti Merokok : Systematic Review

Abstrak

Latar belakang: Pengalaman berhenti merokok dari berbagai latar belakang individu bisa menjadi masukan untuk menyusun strategi keberhasilan berhenti merokok. Tujuan literature review ini adalah untuk memberikan informasi yang komprehensif terkait bagaimana dukungan yang dibutuhkan dan hambatan yang dihadapi untuk bisa berhasil berhenti merokok. Metode literature review ini dilakukan mengikuti panduan PRISMA. Database untuk mencari literatur studi ini adalah Pubmed dengan kombinasi kata kunci: adult AND smoking cessation AND barrier/stress/withdrawal syndrome AND motivation/family support. Hasil: Studi ini menemukan 8 literatur yang membentuk  5 garis besar sebagai hasil review yaitu: motivasi dan efikasi diri berhenti merokok, dukungan keluarga, teman dan lingkungan, miskonsepsi tentang rokok, akses terhadap rokok, dan program berhenti merokok. Miskonsepsi terhadap rokok, seperti memandang wajar orang yang merokok merupakan stigma di masyarakat yang menjadi penghambat keberhasilan upaya berhenti merokok. Jika masyarakat memiliki konsep yang benar dan stigma negatif terhadap rokok akan membuat perokok merasa bersalah dengan sendirinya saat merokok. Simpulan: Program berhenti merokok memerlukan integrasi antara dokter/pihak medis dengan pemberi layanan berhenti merokok. Edukasi masih menjadi poin penting dalam program berhenti merokok dan upaya untuk menurunkan jumlah perokok secara menyeluruh. Inovasi yang melibatkan gaya belajar visual, auditori dan sharing pengalaman dari role model menjadi masukan untuk peningkatan efektifitas program edukasi.
