Pemrograman Robot Maze Solver 2 Dimensi Menggunakan Sensor Infra Merah pada Mikrokontroler ATmega32

Robot Maze Solver adalah robot yang dapat memilih lintasan yang tepat untuk menuju tujuan, dari berbagai alternatif lintasan yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan sensor inframerah yang terdiri atas LED (Light Emitting Diode) inframerah dan photodiode. Robot dapat mengikuti jalan dengan cara mengeluarkan cahaya infrared yang kemudian dipantulkan oleh permukaan lantai dan photodiode kemudian menangkap pantulan sinar infrared tersebut. Ketika sensor berada di atas permukaan putih, maka cahaya inframerah dapat dipantulkan ke photodiode. Namun ketika sensor berada di atas permukaan berwarna hitam, maka cahaya inframerah terserap oleh warna hitam. Berdasarkan hasil pembacaan dan pola sensor tersebut, maka mikrokontroler melakukan proses untuk menggerakkan motor DC berdasarkan program yang telah disimpan. Untuk menentukan jalan terpendek, digunakan algoritma left hand rule.

Abstract
Robot Maze Solver is a robot that can pick the right path to get to the goal, from a variety of alternative pathsexist. This study uses an infrared sensor that consists of LED (Light Emitting Diode) and infrared photodiode. The robot can follow the path by emiting the infrared light is then reflected on the suface of the floor and photodiode captures the reflection of light. When the sensor is above the white surface, then the infrared light can be reflected to the photodiode. But when the sensor is above the black surface, the infrared light absorbed by the black color. Based on the readings result of reflected light and pattern of sensor, then the microcontroller to process to drive the DC motor based on a program that has been saved. To determine the shortest path,the algorithm used left hand rule.
