ABSTRACT
The number of people with CKD is very large and tends to increase from year to year (Bayhakki & Hasneli, 2017). One of the treatment options for CKD is hemodialysis (HD). Clinical manifestations arising from the disease process of CKD and HD are very uncomfortable which can have an impact on the quality of life of patients with CKD. This study aims to determine the quality of life in patients with CKD and its aspects, namely: physical, social, environmental and psychological in the work area of Karyawangi Public Health Center, Parongpong Sub-District, West Bandung District. The research design used is descriptive quantitative analytic / correlational analysis. The population was CKD patients in the work area of the Karyawangi Public Health Center with a sample of 19 people through purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was adopted from THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION QUALITY OF LIFE (WHOQOL) -BREF with 24 questions. Data analysis was performed to determine the quality of life of patients with CKD with a percentage formula with a Likert scale.
