Penerapan Terapi Akupresur Terhadap Mual Muntah Post Kemoterapi Pada Anak Kanker : Literature Review

Latar Belakang: Kanker merupakan penyakit terminal yang menimbulkan
berbagai gejala selama perawatannya. Perawatan dengan kemoterapi
menjadi rekomendasi utama, namun dapat menimbulkan berbagai efek
samping, terutama mual dan muntah. Pasien anak dengan kanker juga
mengalami gejala yang sama selama perawatan dan membutuhkan
dukungan dari keluarga untuk mengurangi efek samping tersebut. Tujuan:
penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan mendeskripsikan secara
sistematis model dan manfaat penerapan terapi akupresur terhadap mual
muntah post kemoterapi pada anak kanker. Metode: pencarian literature
review yang dilakukan secara sistematis dengan menggunakan 4 database
yaitu PubMed, Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, dan ProQuest artikel
penelitian 5 tahun terakhir Berbahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris terkait
penerapan terapi akupresur terhadapmual muntah post kemoterapi pada
anak kanker. Hasil: berdasarkan 6 artikel yang dianalisis, penerapan terapi
akupresur sangat efektif dilakukan untuk menurunkan mual muntah post
kemoterapi pada anak kanker. Terapi akupresur merupakan terapi
komplementer yang dapat dilakukan oleh perawat. Kesimpulan: penerapan
terapi akupresur terhadap mual muntah post kemoterapi pada anak kanker
merupakan salah satu terapi komplementer yang efektif dalam menurunkan
mual muntah post kemoterapi pada anak kanker.
