Hubungan Persepsi Perawat tentang Spiritualitas dengan Praktik Keperawatan Spiritual di RS X Kota Batam

Pendahuluan: Spiritualitas merupakan pemahaman tentang tujuan hidup, pengakuan akan transendensi diri, serta pembentukan hubungan dengan diri sendiri dan orang lain. Di Indonesia, perawat cenderung memprioritaskan kesejahteraan fisik pasien dan menganggap kebutuhan spiritual sebagai kewajiban sekunder, dengan tanggung jawab utama berada pada pemuka agama atau departemen spiritual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi perawat tentang spiritualitas dengan praktik keperawatan spiritual di RS X Kota Batam. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat di ruang rawat inap dewasa RS X Kota Batam, sebanyak 55 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki persepsi rendah terhadap spiritualitas (47,3%), dan mayoritas juga memiliki praktik keperawatan spiritual yang rendah (56,4%). Diskusi: Berdasarkan hasil uji chi-square, diperoleh nilai p-value sebesar 0,016 (< 0,05), yang menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi perawat tentang spiritualitas dengan praktik keperawatan spiritual. Disarankan agar perawat meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, keterampilan, serta kompetensi dalam memberikan asuhan keperawatan spiritual. Penelitian selanjutnya dapat dilakukan secara kualitatif untuk menggali lebih dalam persepsi perawat mengenai spiritualitas dalam praktik keperawatan.
