PENGALAMAN PERAWATAN DIRI PARA PERAWAT YANG MERAWAT PASIEN COVID-19 DI RUMAH SAKIT SWASTA INDONESIA

Latar Belakang. Selama masa pandemi COVID-19, profesi keperawatan tetap menunjukan belas kasihan dan empati terhadap pasien COVID 19 dan menempatkan kepentingan pasien lebih dari diri mereka sehingga sering mengabaikan perawatan diri dalam prioritas. Metode. Landasan filosofis dan desain penelitian fenomenologi deskriptif menurut Husserl digunakan peneliti, dengan 5 partisipan yang diperoleh dengan teknik snow ball serta interpretasi metodologis tujuh langkah Collaizi digunakan. Hasil. Terdapat dua tema yang didapat dalam penelitian yaitu perawatan diri alami dengan beristirahat, higienis, diet berbasis nabati, terpajan sinar matahari, dan aktivitas fisik sebagai sub-tema. Kemudian, perawatan diri artifisial dengan sub-temanya adalah mengkonsumsi vitamin dan menggunakan alat pelindung diri lengkap. Rekomendasi. Direkomendasikan bagi perawat yang merawat pasien COVID 19 untuk menggunakan gabungan perawatan diri alami dan juga artifisial. Direkomendasikan juga bagi penelitian selanjutnya untuk melakukan penelitian case control untuk melihat faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan perawat terinfeksi COVID 19.
