Dampak Teknologi Informasi di Universitas Advent Indonesia
Abstract
Penggunaan teknologi informasi khususnya internet merupakan suatu hal yang penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sekarang ini. Namun, belum ada penelitian yang menyatakan seberapa pentingnya penggunaan teknologi informasi ini berpengaruh dalam aktivitas akademis di Universitas Advent Indonesia. Oleh karena itu penulis melakukan penelitian dampak penggunaan teknologi informasi khususnya internet terhadap kehidupan akademis di Universitas Advent Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada dosen tetap dan kemudian melakukan analisa dari data yang terkumpul. Sehingga didapatkan suatu kesimpulan yaitu mayoritas dosen menyadari pentingnya penggunaan internet di lingkungan akademis Universitas Advent Indonesia. Teknologi Informasi mempunyai dampak yang signifikan terhadap proses belajar mengajar yang dimulai dari persiapan bahan perkuliahan sampai dengan penelitian yang semuanya dapat menggunakan fasilitas internet.
