In an educational institution, the recording of attendance is important and major part of the academic process. In addition, recording student presences are also used to as a measure of how well the learning process is done. In primary and secondary education, presences can be used by parents to monitor and control student attendance. This research was conducted to build a recording and reporting system of student presences using mobile app. The system is developed using Waterfall method of SDLC developing system that consisting five stage: analysis, modeling, coding, testing and implementation. The results of this study that the system developed can record and report student presences well, accurately and realtime. Class teachers and Counseling and guidance can detect students who have high levels of absenteeism earlier and parents can inform well and control their children’s attendance live and realtime.
