Besarnya tekanan pada organiasi bisnis harus direspon oteh organiasi dengan tepat agar dapat tetap eksis di pasar bisnisnya. Respon tersebut dilakukan dengan mengubah strategi organiasi yang diikuti dengan perubahan teknologi informasi yang digunakan agar dapat mendukung strategi bisnis organisasi yang baru. Perubahan strategi bisnis dan perubahan teknologi informasi yang digunakan seringkali harus diikuti oleh perubahan komponen organisasi yang lain, yakni: struktur dan budaya organisasi, manajemen dan proses bisnis, dan individu dan aturan-aturan. perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi harus dikelola dengan baik agar teknologi informasi yang baru dapat bekerja dengan baik dan strategi bisnis organisasi dapat dijalankan sebagaimana mestinya. Universitas Advent Indonesia, dalam usaha untuk meningkatkan pelayanan kepada mahasiswa, hendak mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem informasi yang baru, yaitu sistem informasi pendaftaran ulang berbasis web. Implementasi sistem informasi yang baru ini menuntut adanya perubahan pada komponen-komponen organisasi UNAI yang lain. Agar semua perubahan tersebut dapat berjalan dengan bailg maka diperlukan sebuah strategi pengelolaan perubahan yang tepat.

Abstract

Various pressure to business organization have to be responded by organization correctly to be exist in its business market. The response conducted by altering organizational strategy which followed with change of information technology application used to support new organizational business strategy. Change of business strategy and change of information technology application sometimes have to follow by change of other organizational namely:

organizational culfure and structure, business process and management, and rules and individual.

Changes in organization have to be managed in best way to make sure new information technology application can work in maximum performance and organizational business strategy can be run properly.

Indonesia Adventist University, in effort to increase service quality to student, is going to implementation a new information system, that is web-based registration information system. The implementation of new Information system will make in various component of organizational UNAI. A right change management strategy need to make sure every change will be going well.
