Mengukur Pemanfaatan dan Kebutuhan Internet untuk Mendukung Kegiatan Belajar Mahasiswa di Universitas Advent Indonesia

Internet telah dimanfaatkan seara luas dalam bidang bisnis atau ekonomi dan juga pada bidang-bidang lainnya. Namun dalam bidang pendidikan, pemanfaatan Internet tidak seluas dalam bidang ekonomi. Padahal, Internet memiliki potensi yang besar untuk dimanfaatkan dalam bidang pendidikan sama seperti pada bidang ekonomi dan bidang-bidang yang lain.
Di Universitas Advent Indonesia (UNAI), pemanfaatan Intemet untuk mendukung proses belajar masih sangat minim. Hal ini disebabkan kendala fasilitas Internet UNAI yang masih belum memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur pemanfaatan dan kebutuhan Internet di UNAI untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar. Hasil penelitian ini dihampkan dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk mengambil keputusan dalam hal pengembangan fasilitas Intemet di UNAI sehingga pemanfaatkan Intemet untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar dapat ditingkatkan.

Abstract
Internet has been use widely in business or economy area and also in others. But in education, usage of Internet is not widely as economy area. Although Internet has same potential to use in education as economy area and others.
At Adventist University of Indonesia (UNAI), usage of Internet to support learning process is still minimum. It is caused of Internet facility at UNAI is not satisfied yet. This research's goal is to measure usage and needs of Internet in UNAI to support learning activity. Result of research can be used as base of decision making in Internet facility development at UNAI that usage of Intemet to support learning activity can be increased.
